Job Description

We are currently looking for a Sales and Events Hire Manager to assist in the planning, programming and promotion of private hire events at our Flagship Store on Charing Cross Road.

As an ideal candidate, you will be a confident communicator, representing the company to external business partners in a highly professional manner. You will be well organised, enthusiastic and flexible in your approach. Experience in an events environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities will include
  • The organisation and management of all private hires at Foyles, Charing Cross Road.
  • To develop a venue hire promotional strategy, keeping in mind particular seasonal peaks.
  • To oversee the smooth running of all private hires and attend the events when necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with colleagues at both Foyles and their café partner (Leafi) in order to ensure a joined up approach to the venue hire activity.
  • Develop new business relationships with companies in the Central and wider London area.
  • To cultivate regular communication with current business partners regarding possible future hires.
  • Communicate to the Leafi Café Manager all clients' catering needs.
